Some of the things people have said about Stephan Hoglund"s Work (and Owen Hoglund!) and his personality in regard to their Wedding and his photography will be the main purpose of this Blog. To let them speak about how himself, and his team helped make their day special, fun, and just a little bit easier because of his laid back, creative, and adventurous style.
It is things like this that say it all about Stephan Hoglund Wedding Photography!
"...thanks so much Stephan! We had so much fun with you. I had so many people come up to me and say what a cool photographer we have ; ) You're the best! Can't wait to see more photos. They are so great so far! Oh...and the fact that you saved our cake wasn't bad either, way to go above and beyond! " -Jennifer Hawkins Finn

Stephan specializes in Grand Marais, Lutsen Resort, Lutsen Mountain, Bluefin Bay Tofte and Gunflint Lodge Weddings as well as Bayfield Wisconsin, Duluth and Minneapolis Metro and all Minnesota Weddings. Mexico and destination weddings are favorites and done without travel fees!

Ali and Matt

Ali and Matt were married at the Mountain chalet at Lutsen Mountains. The day began in a beautiful mystical Fog at the family Cabin on the shores of Lake Superior. It made for gorgeous light and as the day wore on the fog burned off leaving surreal mists of fog tendrils all along the shore and up and down the mountain here and there. The day ended with a gorgeous sunset and one could not have asked for a more perfect day for this amazing couple!

Please enjoy their video at the bottom of this post!

Do you ever feel like ya just… are…ya know… over your limit…sorta like……

…..sorta like when the fish are biting and there is no game warden ( I have actually never done that!) around but ya just can’t stop catching em and ya do not want to throw them back…..Photographers? Ever felt like that when you are out shooting and everything is  just right….do you know what I mean? Do you know that feeling? Should you stop? Your feet are freezing your hands are numb but you do not notice it till your finally walking back to the car? Is this what a blog post should be all about? I feel like that sometimes, allot actually but sometimes it is like the fish are small…but sometimes…like today… they are all really big! `~)

One more…..

I biked yesterday from 9am till 3pm without eating. It was so beautiful that I did not think about it till the cold shakes started.

Gorgeous shot, Stephan. And I hope to always keep fishing if they’re jumping like this is!

If conditions are right and things are working out photographically, I will soak it up and deplete all of my options. Icicles in my beard, frozen nostrils and freezing feet would not be felt until I was walking back to my car.
