A note about my Jewelry Creations using these stones. Many of my finish jewelry pieces can be designed to convert from Pendant to Brooch (Pin) to Bolo Ties and because I have always struggled with the concept of “Where do these creations go when not worn?” I designed a way to have them live on Framed or stone mounted sculpture stands in your home to enjoy every day. See last two photos of similar creations in a showcase on a stone sculpture stand and a piece in a framed unit. See last photo(s) on each individual stone.

***Lake Superior Agate, beautiful as it is, is not all from Lake Superior. Only a tiny percentage of it is born of this bedrock such as the Paradise Beach Agate and the Rossport Islands green Canadian again. Most LSA is from the Glacial Till from the Laurentian shield in Canada, northeast of Minnesota and Lake Superior and was dropped along our shore and in the soil of Minnesota and surrounding states. It was NOT born of Fire and Rock like Thomsonite was. Thomsonite still could be our State Gemstone and Agate the State Mineral just as Michigan designated Chlorastrolite (Isle Royale Greenstone) as State Gemstone and Petoskey Stone as State Mineral.
